ADULT COURSES / CLASSES

We have a robust adult program at Miss Linda's with 4-5 week courses in Social Dance

and ongoing drop-in classes for Ballet and Tap.

​

Join John and Laurie Johnson as they team teach our social dance courses offered this season. Lessons take place on Friday evenings, 7:30-8:30PM. It's a great date night option! *Click on Schedule and use the drop-down menu to choose the right course for you.

Wendy Masterson teachers our adult ballet and Kaylee LaClair teaches our tap on Wednesday evenings. These are offered on a class card or drop in basis to accommodate busy schedules. Click the schedule button to for dates and times.

Miss Linda's also offers Private Lessons. These are great for those wanting a first dance for their wedding or wanting to surprise someone with a night out on the town.

What to Wear

Attire in general terms is for

fitted, comfortable clothing. Traditional dance classes require specific shoes like tap or ballet. For social dance classes please bring comfortable shoes with clean soles that you can change into once you arrive at the Studio.

This is a great introductory course that offers a taste of five popular dances giving solid basics in each style. Waltz, Polka, Cha Cha, Swing, Two Step

SWING
Nov 1, 8, 15, 22

Swing dancing has been part of our culture for almost 100 years. Join the fun with this course dedicated to learning the basics of this iconic dance form. John and Laurie are West Coast Swing aficionados.

LATIN
Feb 7, 14, 21, 28

Cha Cha, Rumba, Salsa and all the hot Latin beats. Learn these dances and stay warm during the cold MT winter. 

COUPLES SWING
Mar 7, 14, 21, 28

This course is for COUPLES ONLY. Take a deeper dive into this fun and dynamic dance form. After learning the basics, this is a great add on. Explore a variety of music, steps and all the places you can get your dance on.

COUNTRY
TWO STEP
May 2, 9, 16, 23

Every Montanan needs this course. Two Step is the heart of country dance and can also be applied to other music genres too. You'll get all the moves you need to dance to all the live music our great state has to offer.

LINE DANCE
June 6, 13, 20, 27

Get social with dance and bring all your friends. This is a great way to have fun with a group, get a bit of exercise and learn how to line dance to a variety of types of music.

The Social Dance course fee is $60 per individual or $115 per couple.
Payment is processed at the first lesson. 

Regular classes are offered on a drop-in basis ($10) or through an 8 class punch card ($64).
Cards may be purchased online or payments may be handled at our Front Desk.
