Act I Theatre Company
Sing ~ Learn ~ Perform

Theater for young people can be found with our Act I Theatre Company, Co-Directed by April Wendt, Kaylee Osentowski and Miss Linda with Steve Olson as Musical Director.
This class explores acting and singing through structured weekly classes. Students will learn stage terminology, acting and improvisation techniques, vocal warm-ups, singing, basic movement and choreography.
They then take this work and apply it to their own fully produced musical in a local theatre. Act I members also play the character roles in Miss Linda's all studio Spring Production. They have many performances throughout the year.
This company and its directors specialize in building confidence, self-esteem, teamwork and group oriented goals resulting in strong students and great productions. This is an energetic, fun and personalized experience for students.

For many years Great Falls had a thriving community theater scene that offered wonderful opportunities to young, aspiring performers. In recent years this scene has declined and there was a gap in a much needed area of learning. The creation of Act One was a way for Miss Linda's to help fill this gap.
Act One Theater Company is open to anyone. Classes are for kids ages 8 and up.
No previous experience is required.
