The Act I Theatre Company is a dynamic and fun group loaded with learning, exploration, creativity and imagination. They have lessons in acting, singing, movement and theater tech. Each year they do a fully produced musical and they carry the through line of the annual all-Studio spring production. This is a unique group with foundational qualities of acceptance, friendship, respect and support. Being part of this group develops presence, self-esteem, discipline, confidence, group goal setting and group success.
*New This Season*
Company classes will be divided into Act I and Act II. Those newer to the Company will take Act I and older students with at least two previous years in Act I will take Act II. The classes will meet separately from Sept-Dec for one hour and then meet together from 6:30-8:30pm for Jan-May to rehearse the musical and spring production.
Hamilton Experience
This year from Sept-Dec, Act II will be studying the musical Hamilton and developing their own works based on the show.
*Act One Theater Company is open to anyone ages 8 to 18.
No previous experience is required.
